VI Peel Timeline
Taking just about 20 minutes from start to finish, the procedure is quick and pretty painless. You will leave the solution on your skin for five hours and wash it off at home on your own. Unlike many peels, there is no downtime with the VI Peel. Recipients may resume normal activity and events immediately. Skin may look red or tan for the first two days. After 3 days, sloughing of the skin will start and may last for a few days, but the flaky skin can be covered with a moisturizer. About 4 days after the peeling has subsided, the results of the VI Peel can be seen and fully appreciated.
